Director of Professional Services & Support – Dave Bell

Dave Bell has been with Tour de Force CRM since 2007. Dave was initially hired as a Senior Consultant, and in 2009 was promoted to the Director of Professional Services. In 2011 Dave was took over leadership for the Support team in addition to the Professional Services team.

Dave spent the early years of his career in various management, sales, and technical positions. In 1994, Dave became an independent consultant and spent the next twelve years implementing the Saratoga Systems sales force automation solution. During that period, Dave worked on implementation projects ranging from 5 to 600 users. As a core part of Dave’s implementation methodology, he assisted companies not only with the implementation of the software, but with the design and documentation of their  CRM and Sales Process Strategy.  In his career, Dave has designed and conducted training for well over 4,000 inside and outside sales reps for projects with companies such as Eastman Kodak, Canada Post Corporation, we Energies, Cole Taylor Bank, E. Fougera Inc., Phoenix Contact and Sunoco Chemical.

Since joining us in 2007, Dave has implemented Tour de Force CRM at more than 35 sites for over 1,000 users.

In addition to Dave’s professional experience, he has been a speaker at a number of CRM association and user group meetings as an industry expert in the implementation of CRM and sales force automation strategies.

Senior Environment Consultant – Jerry Waldman

Jerry Waldman has been with Tour de Force CRM since the company was originally founded in 2001. In his current role, Jerry supports the installation and configuration of Tour de Force CRM in the client environment.

Jerry spent the early part of his career working in the distribution industry, working at Simco Controls in Columbus, Ohio, and leaving in 1988 to join The FES Corporation in Findlay, Ohio. Jerry’s initial roles at The FES Corporation were an Outside Sales Representative and an Automation Specialist. Eventually, Jerry took over the IT department and pioneered the adoption of the Microsoft NT, Windows, Office, Exchange, and SQL Server technologies in the early 1990s.

As a very early believer in Microsoft technology platforms, Jerry’s skills earned him the respect of the management team from Prophet 21, and he was asked to participate as a consultant in the development of their ERP system in 1996. Prophet 21, or P21, is a SQL Server based ERP system that is used by more distribution companies in North America than any other ERP business system, and is now owned by Epicor.

After The FES Corporation was sold in 1997, Jerry joined FESTech Software Solutions, a technology consulting and training company. During his employment with FESTech, he delivered over 50 training courses related to Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Exchange Server to distributors across North America. While with FESTech, Jerry received the certifications of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Trainer.

Since joining Tour de Force CRM in 2001, Jerry has worked on over 100 implementations with clients that still use Tour de Force CRM today, including our original beta sites. Jerry’s extensive background in Microsoft technology platforms and his years of experience working in and delivering training to the distribution industry are extremely valuable assets to Tour de Force CRM.

Senior Business Consultant – Dan Shawver

Dan Shawver has been with Tour de Force CRM since 2005. In his current role, Dan leads implementations of Tour de Force CRM and works with existing clients to drive user adoption and ensure the return on their investment in Tour de Force CRM.

Dan’s prior experience includes 15 years in various positions within the software technology industry. Dan spent the early part of his consulting career as a business consultant and project manager, implementing over 300 Platinum and Microsoft Dynamics SL ERP packages. After establishing himself as a subject matter expert in the area of project accounting, Dan started his own consulting company where he focused on the documentation and training related to the Microsoft Dynamics SL product.

During his career, Dan has instructed over 1,000 training classes, and in 2002 he received his certification status as a Microsoft Certified Instructor for Business Applications.

Business Consultant – Ann Fisher

Ann Fisher has been with Tour de Force CRM since 2009. In her current role, Ann is responsible for project management, implementations, and the training of Tour de Force CRM users.

Previously, Ann has held positions in sales and production management with General Dynamics Land Systems Div., Honda of America Mfg., and as a National Account Manager with an automotive aftermarket parts distributor.  In these endeavors, Ann had extensive experience in leading various business system implementations. Continuing along that path, she secured a professional services consultant position with one of the leading ERP software programs, Epicor, and became an independent consultant implementing various ERP systems at well over 100 companies from 2000 through 2009.  During that period Ann implemented and trained on projects ranging from 5 to 600 users. Her implementation methodology assists companies not only with the implementation of software, but with the design and documentation of their business processes.  Ann was a lead trainer for Epicor’s Consultant and Partner certification program and designed and conducted training for 150 consultants.

Since joining us, Ann has implemented Tour de Force CRM at over 20 sites and trained close to 1000 total users in addition to assisting on the support of other post implementation training and support projects.  Ann’s extensive background in delivering training and assisting clients in their implementations are very valuable assets to Tour de Force CRM.

 

Business Application Consultant - Sam Wermuth

Business Consultant – Sam Wermuth

Sam Wermuth has been with Tour de Force CRM since early 2011. In his current role, Sam works with new clients to configure Tour de Force CRM to integrate and augment their business processes, manages new projects, and trains and supports client users during the implementation.

Sam’s prior professional experience spans 30+ years in technical and management roles at Duke Energy Co., as President of a private consulting practice serving utility and distribution clients, and in sales and executive leadership roles at two industrial distribution companies.  Most recently Sam led a high performance operations, inside sales and engineering team as VP of Customer Services/ Director of Operations for Cross Automation, one of Tour de Force CRM’s customers.  In that role, he also served as the internal product champion and trainer for Cross Automation’s sales force as they implemented Tour de Force CRM in 2008. As a subsequent consultant to Cross Automation in 2010, Sam assisted the company in upgrading their software to the 4th generation of Tour de Force CRM, developed process documentation, and transferred his system knowledge to a new internal product champion.

Sam provides a first-hand understanding of the distribution business alongside his passion for helping companies leverage their core strengths to grow profitably. Sam has a BSME from Virginia Tech and is a registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina.

Application Consultant – Tricia Kirgis

Tricia Kirgis has been with Tour de Force CRM since mid 2011. In her current role, Tricia supports new and existing customers.

Tricia has ten years of experience with the Microsoft Dynamics SL (formerly Solomon Software) ERP system, having worked in technical support, implementation, training, consulting, documentation, support, upgrades, and customizations. Tricia has a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management with a concentration in Business Applications Consulting from the University of Findlay. Most recently Tricia served as Director of Enrollment Management for Ivy Bridge College of Tiffin University.

Application Consultant – Micki Hartman

Micki Hartman has been with Tour de Force CRM since 2008.  In her current role, Micki supports the use of Tour de Force CRM at new and existing client sites.

Micki began her career at Tour de Force CRM as a Marketing and Sales Assistant, and shortly thereafter moved into the Support department. In her role in Support, Micki assisted current clients with the use of Tour de Force CRM and conducted training on general features in order to further the adoption of the software within the company’s user base.  Micki’s experience in the Support department has provided her with a wide range of experience and exposure to the different ways Tour de Force CRM is used by our clients, and gives her a unique insight that she will be able to use in her recent promotion to Application Consultant.
