The Email Logging feature of Tour de Force gives an organization the ability to manage email messages exchanged between members of the organization and the contacts of customers, prospects, and other business relationships.
Email Logging captures a copy of email messages sent and received through the Exchange server, automatically scanning the address fields associated with each email message in order to locate a matching Contact record in Tour de Force. Email Logging captures all inbound and outbound mail messages from Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Web Access, PDA devices, and from ERP systems that have automated processes.
Personal emails will not be logged into Tour de Force. An organization has the ability to record specific email addresses to which Email Logging will not apply. An individual user can control which emails are logged as well through the use of the Sensitivity field in Outlook, or through the use of the Private designation in their Outlook Contacts.
Be Efficient
- Send emails like you normally would, and they will be automatically logged. Email Logging does NOT require the use of the CC: or BCC: fields in order to log an email. All logging is done automatically, without any additional steps on behalf of the Sender or the Recipient.
Be Effective
- Email Logging in Tour de Force drives effective communication between all members of your organization and your customers. For example, an Outside Sales rep can easily review the communication between a customer and an Inside Sales rep before making a sales call to ensure that they have a complete view of the status of that customer’s account.
